The following map and video depict a longer way to get to the entrance of the Ready Lanes. We feel it should generally be reliable even in heavy traffic times such as at the end of a long weekend. Please note that in peak travel periods such as the holiday season, the Ready Lane line can extend much further past where you join the line in this video.
The following map depicts the route described in the instructions above. Your starting point will be different from the starting point (A) depicted in the map, use your app to navigate to points (B - Ready Lane Turn on Blvd Las Americas) and (C - Ready Lane Entry Point).
Here is a shorter route to the San Ysidro Ready Lane, that is not shown in the video. Please be advised that if you attempt to take this shorter route when there are longer wait times, you may be redirected by traffic officers to get the back of the line. This can be very confusing for a lot of border crossers, which is why we recommend the longer route above to less-experienced border crossers.
