Eastbound Directions to the Medical Fast Pass

WARNING: DO NOT RELY ONLY ON GOOGLE/WAZE/APPLE NAVIGATION! It is often inaccurate and will take you to the wrong lane or on a route in which you may inadvertently cut in line and will subject you to penalties.

The following video and map depict the best way to get to the San Ysidro medical fast pass lanes if you are coming from the coastal toll-road (highway 1D). It is the same route you would take to the regular (all traffic) lanes, however you need to get into the special lane depicted in the video

Use This Waypoint to Safely Navigate Using Google/Waze/Apple

Waypoints:
1. First navigate to All Traffic - Medical Lane entry point [https://maps.app.goo.gl/3WBaTNymjLpzuPDa6].
2. Then continue over the bridge to Medical Lane Entrance Kiosk [https://maps.app.goo.gl/a65tBbEfMtPsMDcX7].
Make sure you are in the correct lane!
Once you reach the All Traffic entry waypoint, make sure you are in the correct lane. You should be in the divided lane fourth from the left that says "Medical Services". This is the most difficult part and there is only one lane you can use to enter correctly.

Then you will go up and over the bridge in the far right lane to get to the medical lane entrance kiosk.

Westbound Directions to the Medical Fast Pass Lane

The Medical Fast Pass can also be used coming from the Zona Rio / Tijuana City Center. This requires you to enter the lane starting from Paseo Heroes going west. We are including a video which shows this entrance coming from the coast and then coming back around through Zona Rio and past the Cultural Center (CECUT).
