Hotel Hacienda Bajamar

Experience the feel of a Mexican hacienda while enjoying a golf vacation at Hotel Hacienda Bajamar. This hotel is located on the golf course of Bajamar, about 20 minutes north of Ensenada. Angels and a saint greet you as you enter through the tall, solid wood doors. The Spanish colonial style architecture with its tile, archways and high ceilings hints of a bygone era, yet it offers modern amenities. The hotel was built around a courtyard with a fountain flowing in the middle and tables and chairs to relax and enjoy. The grounds around the hotel are gorgeously landscaped.

Each room has a private patio or a balcony that opens to a garden view, ocean view, or a golf course view. They offer standard rooms or junior suites. Ask for room packages that include golf. The restaurant, Dos Lagos, serves Mexican and American style dishes as well as Puerto Nuevo lobster. Visit the Sand Trap bar on Friday and Saturday night for live entertainment. Breathtaking views of the golf course and surroundings are what you will find from El Mirador, a tower available for private events.

Golf at Bajamar is famous for its incredible views and challenging course. It is often called the "Pebble Beach of Baja." The well manicured course blankets the desert land down to the cliffs overlooking the sea. It is a Scottish links style course with 27 holes, which means three combinations to play!

Enjoy day trips to "La Bufadora" blowhole just south of downtown Ensenada and to the famous Baja wine country, La Valle de Guadalupe.
