The 2012 Dane LaFontaine Baja 500 fundraiser to benefit Rancho Santa Marta is complete!

Although Dane had a tough day on the race course, he still tackled 175 miles of the Baja 500 and raised some great money for the orphanage. All of the donations totaled $1,812.50 which will go to support some very deserving children at Rancho Santa Marta. A message from Dane:

"While Baja proved to have different plans for me than finishing the race this go-around, I was still able to log around 175 miles through some of Baja's most challenging terrain. Lining up with some of Baja's greatest motorcycle racers was a dream come true for this desert kid, and I cannot wait to get back to training and make preparations for next season. I hope you will all stay tuned and keep apprised of my efforts, and I would like to thank all of you for your support and kindness this season. It's amazing to know you have so many friends behind you, and words cannot describe how appreciative I am of all the support I received while putting together this race effort."
