The Puerto Nuevo area includes the well known Lobster Village, famous for its original recipe Baja style lobster. Just minutes from Rosarito, what was once a small fishing village, is now a favorite destination for southern Californians. The now classic Puerto Nuevo style lobster recipe was first created in the 1950's. Served up deep fried lobsters with red salsa, handmade tortillas, rice and beans, it quickly became a hit!
