Coverage is available for autos, trucks, motorcycles, SUV's and RV's. The service area includes northern Baja, southern Baja, and mainland Mexico. Daily and annual service plans are available. Daily plans start at $8.50; annual plans are $99 for an auto or motorcycle, $109 for trucks and SUV's, and $125 for RV's.

How It Works

The coverage must be purchased before you enter Mexico. If you are an Auto Club of Mexico member and need service, call the toll free number given to you with your membership. Have your member number handy. The staff will need the make and model of your vehicle, location of the vehicle, and your name. They will then dispatch a local service provider to you.

How To Buy Coverage

Coverage may be purchased online by filling out an application at the Auto Club of Mexico's website. They accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Once your application is submitted, your membership information will be.

How is the Coverage Different from the Coverage on My Mexican Insurance Policy?

Towing: If you have a Genworth Seguros or ACE Seguros policy and require towing due to a mechanical breakdown, the policy will cover towing up to US $300 to the nearest repair shop. They will not tow your vehicle across the border. The towing coverage with Auto Club of Mexico is more comprehensive. They allow you to tow your vehicle up to 200 miles in Mexico. If you are within 100 miles of the border, they will tow your vehicle across the border if you wish.

Fuel service: If you purchased a Genworth Seguros policy, the cost of the gas will be covered. If you purchased an ACE Seguros policy, you must pay for the cost of the gas. With Auto Club of Mexico, the cost of the gas is covered.
